Growing Up in Science - Vera Carniello | FEBRUARY 24TH | AT 17.30- 18.30

Growing up in science: a conversation with Dr. Vera Carniello who is a biomedical engineer with expertise in anti-infective strategies, biomaterials, and biomedical devices. She completed her biomedical sciences PhD in the University Medical Centre Groningen and is currently a system integrator at BD, one of the largest biomedical sciences companies worldwide.

The Growing up in Science series aims to explore the journey and challenges of a PhD during their project, and in the transition post PhD. The event is a small presentation followed by an informal conversation with the speakers about their journey and insight into the PhD process.
