The graduate school of medical sciences has their own website with up to date information for current and prospective PhD and Master students. For current students using your p-number or s-number, you can also visit the My University page. Here you will find detailed information on services, training programmes, Hora Finita and more.

Courses and Training Plans

Course information can be found in the context of the PhD competences via the PhD Development Training tool. This tool can be useful for developing your Training and Supervision Plan (which needs to be filled in and uploaded to Hora Finita!).

Tips for new PhD Students:

There are 3 mandatory courses, make sure you check out when they should be taken during your PhD period.
If you are interested in the epidemiology course, please keep in mind that the registration procedure is imperfect. Check upcoming courses regularly to see when you can sign up. If you encounter any problems, send an email to the GSMS to let them know you are having trouble (this way they can be alerted to the problem). If you do not get into the course you will be put on the waiting list. The GSMS PhD Council and the GSMS are aware of these issues and are now in the process of resolving them.

Hora Finita

Hora Finita is the platform used to manage all PhD related documentation (ECs, R&D Meetings, Portfolio etc). Most courses will automatically synchronise with Hora Finita, but on occasion you may need to upload a certificate. When in the final stages of your PhD the checklist is important for making sure you have everything ready!
